Your attitude determines your Latitude
Attitude is the approach of mind towards its surroundings. Weakness of attitude becomes weakness of character as long as we place it within the circumference of our notion about morality. But beyond morality is also a whole world. It is true that attitude determines our actions and a flaw in the attitude is going to affect all around us so much so that one becomes instrumental for the suffering...

Conversation about life
to me it all stems from health
mental
physical
emotional
because if those three aren't in check
your life will be in disarray
and unfortunately modern society is set up that those three will always be OC(out of control) . unless you actively try to correct it
but life nowadays is always based around survival so much that you never try to improve yourself
because you're always thinking about survival.
Which inherently isn't bad
its just that it has spread to all areas of life. "Well I have to do this! I have to get that! I have to buy that!" All comes from fear
So when you arent focused on improving yourself you are always back tracking. Notice how the average person in their 30s is. Out of shape, stressed from job or family. Life is just hectic
then when you're old enough to really mentally enjoy life because of the wisdom you have gained, you are physically falling apart for not taking care of yourself when you're younger.
It's all connected.
and to relate to what you're saying
if you're in poor health why the hell would you try to connect to a fellow man to help when you aren't whole yourself

Perspective
When we see other people’s way of life through our own value system, we may be shocked; but if we know what brought that person to the place where they are today, then perhaps we can be a bit more understanding

Right, Wrong, Morality,What?
People who bypass important aspects of life, who disregard a general sense of right, wrong, and morality for the sake of ‘being young’ and ‘not missing life,’ and for ‘momentary instant gratification,’ make me want to go to my room and sit in the corner. I can’t grasp how selfish this concept is, and it only really bothers me when people use it as an excuse to screw other...

For me, ‘taking one’s stand’ is not a means of evaluating whether or not you have measured up to external standards. But rather it is a way of evaluating your life against internal standards, of the heart and soul, in order to establish whether you have begun to acquire bright, calm, unhurried introspection, and therefore whether you have reached a state where you can deal...

On Success
The world will tell you success is achieving what you set out to do. It will tell you success is winning, that finding recognition and/or prosperity are essential ingredients in any success. All or some of the above are usually by-products of success, but they are not success. The conventional notion of success is concerned with the outcome of what you do. Some may say success is a combination...
